NanoSat Lab UPC
- Developed a real-time MATLAB simulation and control app for orbital experiments using Helmholtz coils.
- Implemented camera-based attitude rate estimation for angular motion tracking in simulated orbital conditions.
- Designed a hardware illumination system to replicate solar lighting conditions for orbital environment simulation.
- Collaborated with lab researchers on shared infrastructure and rigorously documented all developed code and experimental procedures following NanoSat Lab standards.
- Designed a 3-axis detumbling system using hysteresis rods, later upgraded to active magnetorquer control with H-bridge actuation.
- Developed MATLAB simulations for attitude dynamics, detumbling performance, and nadir-pointing control.
- Collaborated within the ADCS subsystem team and with other subsystems, documenting design decisions and simulation results, and presenting progress updates to the team and ESA advisors.
