NanoSat Lab UPC

Research Assistant (UPC - INIREC Scholarship) December 2025 - Present
  • Developed a real-time MATLAB simulation and control app for orbital experiments using Helmholtz coils.
  • Implemented camera-based attitude rate estimation for angular motion tracking in simulated orbital conditions.
  • Designed a hardware illumination system to replicate solar lighting conditions for orbital environment simulation.
  • Collaborated with lab researchers on shared infrastructure and rigorously documented all developed code and experimental procedures following NanoSat Lab standards.
PoCAT-Lektron Mission (ESA's FYS! 4) June 2025 - Present
  • Designed a 3-axis detumbling system using hysteresis rods, later upgraded to active magnetorquer control with H-bridge actuation.
  • Developed MATLAB simulations for attitude dynamics, detumbling performance, and nadir-pointing control.
  • Collaborated within the ADCS subsystem team and with other subsystems, documenting design decisions and simulation results, and presenting progress updates to the team and ESA advisors.
Supermarket Personnel (Christmas Campaign) December 2023 - January 2024
